The impact that parents have on their child’s education is highly positive. Research has shown that displaying an interest in the day to day education of children, as well as actively supporting them with their homework increases the attainment of children in school. This means reading with your child every day if possible, working in mental adding and subtraction and times tables.
It also means that when you collect your child ask: "Tell me something you learnt today."
On the left hand menus you will links to each year group and their handbook, in here you will find information on how you can support your child with their learning.
Your support can have a great impact on your child's learning - find some time each day to at least read with your child.
